Horses, Dogs, and more Horses..oh and there were Cats somewhere there too

I went horseback riding on Monday for the first time since August last year!! I loved it!! Western horseback riding seems like it's going to be a lot of fun. It's quite different from English too, I was sort of surprised, but I guess I shouldn't have been really.

Tuesday was fun too! I went to look at houses with my parents and uncle. The first one we went to wasn't really anything special. The land wasn't very well kept and bees kept following me around. I didn't like it all that much. Mom loved the house though, it was all open-concept and I admit it was a very pretty house but I just didn't like it. The cat was mean too, I went to pet it and it meowed at me everytime I would get close. It wasn't a nice meow either. It was a 'touch me and I'll bite your hand off, bitch' kind of meow so I stayed pretty clear of that cat.

The next house was amazing!!! I fell in love with it...The house is really nice, and I would get the basement all to myself. It has its own bathroom with a shower and everything, and a kid already lives there so it'll be nice. Mom said if we get that house that we could install kitchen appliances (stove) into the counter. I don't even have to go through the house to get to the basement since its a walkout. I might even get my own garage!!

The barn on that property is pretty well kept too and the woman who owned the place said that we could take the horses too. I couldn't tell if she was joking or not...the dogs she owned were funny. Once they decided we were okay people they kept demanding to be pet. At one point they all crowded around me wanting attention...all of them were labs so they weren't small.

One of the horses was cute too, he liked to push people around with his head. I started scratching his nose and he seemed to enjoy it, trying to catch my hand with his lips.

The only thing about this place is that the driveway is super long and most of the land is the front yard.

The last place we saw the house wasn't all that great but there was a lot of land where we could build a barn, etc. but it was more expensive than the other two places.

My job search is sort of at a halt right now too, the one place I had an interview for I didn't get, which is okay because I don't think it was right for me at this time. I'm trying to set up an interview with another place but its going really slowly.

I've also rekindled my love for Inuyasha! I've been reading it almost non-stop lately.

I didn't get to see the place with the cottage yet, but we will be looking at it some time later when the real estate agent gets in touch with my uncle.

  1. Wow, busy busy! Hope you find that just-right house, that both you and your parents love. :) And I'm sure you'll find a job eventually, always takes time, good luck!
